Caring For Your Hair
Step 1
Cut down on shampoo. Wash your hair with conditioner not shampoo if you have dry hair.
Step 2
Treat your hair every month with protein products or use an egg in your hair.
Step 3
In case you didn't know black hair has the finest strands! A huge misconception is that black hair is coarse, coarse
means the "strand size" not the texture. Black hair is rarely coarse,
black strands' are finer than any other group - which is why is can not take
heavy handling. Hold your hair up to the light, is is thin, can you see through
it, if yes - you have fine hair. This means your hair needs extensive care.
Step 4
Use organic products in your hair olive oil is also good.
Step 5
Your hair needs moisture but stay away from petroleum it is grease and causes your hair to become dry. Moisturizing prevents split ends.
Step 6
Try cutting down on heating equipment. Use them no more than 2-3 times per month.
Step 7
Use a wide tooth comb to comb your hair, stop buying bristle
brushes or thin combs which will catch in your hair and snap it off. go for low
maintenance. People of color should never comb their hair everyday, your hair
does not need to be combed everyday, just detangle with your fingers. Excessive
combing will break your hair off. Make sure your hair is slightly damp before
you tangle.
Your hair will be healthier if you follow these rules and
you will notice a difference in the strength and length.
